CAMPAIGN BRANDING

Send It End It

1 out of every 4 car accident in the United States is caused by texting while driving with teen drivers being four times more likely to get into a car accident than adults when on their phone. Distracted driving is the cause of 58% of teen car accidents, but since there is no way to actually keep track of distracted driving the number of drivers who text and drive is underreported. This is a serious issue as technology becomes more and more integrated into our life, we are glued to our phones at moments when we should not be. There have been many laws and other enforcement strategies to try to combat this issue, but texting and driving still continues to be a worldwide issue.

This campaign was aimed to promote no texting and driving. For our message campaign, the primary marketing was via social media and other online platforms to best target the teenage/young adults population.

I worked on this project with another partner designer as a pair, and we developed a campaign proposal to bring to the audience with background information, marketing strategies, target audience, graphic standards, campaign budgets, and more. Our main goal was to educate others on the severity of consequences when we text and drive, with the call of action to put a stop to this in their habits.
