RESTAURANT BRANDING

IZZA

Project Description

IZZA is an Izakaya-style Japanese restaurant located in Oakland, CA. My role as the Visual Designer was to create a logo and restaurant menus for guests to browse when visiting the restaurant.

The logo concept comes from the word “IZZA” and its letters being connected physically and united as one element. This inspiration was drawn from the idea that the owner wanted to have a dining destination that would bring people together to enjoy his food. I wanted to illustrate that in a clean and visually compelling way that would still be legible on its own.

My Role

I designed the restaurant’s original logo, menu, restaurant signages — ensuring a cohesive visual identity that reflected the brand's concept and values.

Logo

Used for storefront, branding materials, and employee tshirts.
